Cleaning up a busy town centres, rural streets with parked cars and green spaces is a challenge for any street cleansing team.
This was the dilemma that Rhondda Cynon Taf council faced when reviewing their cleansing needs. Each team runs a 24-hour cleansing schedule to keep the borough clean; with the task becoming even great with the need to segregate litter at source.
After looking for a commercial litter segregation cart, invaluable time was spent road testing the Street Boss and 4 bag loading system which encourages the segregation of litter and recyclable waste. The integral Handihoop Plus withstands long periods of continuous use and the solid aluminium frame is robust enough to carry upto 100 litres of waste.
Street Boss allows council operatives to segregate upto four items of recyclable litter and promote recycling on the move to local residents.
