I have had it for several weeks and used it to successfully pick up rubbish of various sizes from sweet papers to drinks cans to plastic bottles.

Very well constructed, strong arm and good solid firm grip. I was able to re-arrange my wine bottles, which it gripped strongly, so able to lift slightly and slide them about. I had a similar one, and gave it to a friend, and bought some cheap ones, with a hinge the middle of the handle, never felt safe or comfortable with them. This one is a genuine helping hand.

I have been using litter sticks for years, tackling all sorts of sometimes disgusting stuff that sometimes gets dropped, left or deposited on our streets.
I have used many types of picker.
This one is good for a couple of important reasons:
1. The “squeeze” mechanism is a cord that could be replaced if it ever broke. Cheaper ones have a rod, the length of the handle, and when they go, it’s finished.
2. The pick-up head can be turned 45 °, which is very helpful.
